Mahanubhaviya "Shri Krishna Mandir" (Tq: Akot, Dist: Akola, Maharashtra) is located at the Small Town "Akot", which is about 45KMs from the Railway Junction & District Place AKOLA. This is not a "Charanankit Sthan", but this is a "Mandalik Stan". "Charanankit Stan" means the place which is touched by the GOD ( Pancha Krishana's). In this temple there is a Beautiful Black Idol of Lord Krishna. As per my knowledge, the "Murti Pooja" (Idol worshipping) is not followed in Mahanubhav Pantha. But this Idol is still "Namaskari", because there are "Vishesha" used in the different body parts of the Shri Krishna's Idol. This murti was made by Shri Muthikar Baba. This temple is one of the well maintained temple of the Mahanubhav Sampraday and frequently visited by Mahanta & Aai's of the Pantha. Daily ooti, Pooja, wida , awasar, aarati done at this temple by the Panthiyas. Shri Krishna Janmastami and other Jayantis of the Five Avatar's are celebrated on at the large scale with the palakhi & mahaprasad.
